Working with a pre-press/printing company. After 2 years trading they needed help in upgrading their pre-press and marketing a new 6-colour B1 press. This involved working with their customers to maximize the improved digital workflows to the benefit of all parties involved.

Advising a print management company on digital communications, soft proofing solutions and PDF workflows.

Advising a national institution on upgrading its design computer network and communications. This was over three sites and consisted of a 3-stage plan covering hardware upgrades to OPI workflows, and going on to suggest ways of digitizing their image library to increase revenue.

A project with a major international auction house to advice on, and then implement major changes to their catalogue production workflow. This project includes colour management from digital cameras to file supplied to the printer. Advising on the choice of workflow and equipment, which includes colour scanners and a proofing solution.

Designing and implementation a process control system in a leading London B2 multi colour printer in the catalogue and fine art markets. This involved a full audit of all pre-press and pressroom systems, advice on new equipment and software, a colour management policy, and training. See attached article from Printing World, Nov 2002.

Working with a large Government department on implementing a colour management policy, which was researched by this consultancy. This major project included the implementation of an ICC based page workflow, advice on upgrades to colour monitors, scanners and printers, and an ongoing training process for both their staff and suppliers. This has progressed to advising on, and project managing, the installation of a full pre-publishing workflow, with project management software, soft proofing and print on demand facilities.

Providing a large multi-lingual publisher with a complete colour management system and policy, which covers all areas of their business, including clients and suppliers.
